Please help our work

The Children’s Family Trust relies on charitable income to complement the fees it is able to charge local authorities for each child it looks after.

Although our expenses are modest, and our Trustees unpaid, we still have to afford the managerial and professional standards required by current legislation and recent regulatory requirements.  These required heavy investment beginning in 2004/5.  We also committed to a substantial expansion with a programme that will last until at least 2008.  Operational growth took our fee income from £351,558 in 2005 to £560,234 in 2006.  In 2006 we were greatly helped by a small number of substantial legacies, and need to find the funds required to complete this work as fee income does not cover this investment.

We are grateful for any form of support we receive.  This can be by way of finance, but there are also many other ways in which help can be given – assistance with fund-raising, sponsorships, assistance with our administrative burden and overheads, technical advice and support, and so on.  Financial assistance can come by way of planned or one-off charitable giving (many forms of which attract tax relief for the donor), legacies and gifts.

If you think you can help us in any way, please contact us in one of the following ways:
